I found looking for a good arcade script both daunting and frustrating. That is until I came across Flash Game Script (FGS). After a long time comparing Game scripts, and even thinking to make one myself. I decided to choose for FGS. FGS is young and has potential and some good features and also some well looking templates included. They also have some gamepacks to import into the SQL database.

The support-guys from FGS are very kindly and helpfull. The SQLengine is seems to be stable and the layout scripts are easy to edit for your own needs. But be carefull not to mess up ;-)

But if you like what you get then you have the admin pannel to add some things you like as pub-adds, news, advertisement banners. Arrange members, categories and the games.... I think with the good management this will be a good selling script.

The admin panel is very powerful. You can configure pretty much everything from the admin panel, which stores its config in the MySQL database. Thus you avoid having to tediously edit config files on your server. If you know some PHP programming, you can use their plugin architecture to customize your site in every little details if so you choose.

One last thing, they smartly stored common strings in text files, which gives you the flexibility to change any strings / paragraphs that you don't like without breaking the upgradibility of the script!"

I have tried several scripts for making an arcade site, but none of them come near Flash Game Script, 4 themes from start, much greater earning potential, more features, easier to run, great layut, only one langauge file to edit to your needs, not several like alot of other scripts, good commented code.

The only bad thing is that i havent got this earlier, could have saved me alot of time.

As owner of both a "PHPAS" and a "FGS" it is safe to say the FGS is alot better and far more easier to work with.

The ability to work within your admin panel to set the your site the way you want it, the sponsor a game, being able to add your your google adsence baners and other types of advertising, setting up your keywarods and meta tags all while in your admin panel.

All in all this script is advance but yet very easy to work with and places it on the top of the arcade script list. A must get.

FlashGameScript is by far the best script out there, I have tried others in the past but none come close to the professional appearance FGS has.
